Multnomah Falls Research
Multnomah Falls Research LLC (MFR) provides support services to Columbia Gorge Research. MFR was founded in March, 2016 as a mentored company. Columbia Gorge Research staff assisted in the setup of the company. MFR is a small business based in Corvallis, Oregon that specializes in fiber optic sensor technology and offers courses covering fiber optic sensor technology progress over the last 35 years, overviews of the technology within specific applications in recent years, and how to set up and run a small high tech business. Outreach programs include guest speaker appearances at senior seminars at local universities, middle and high schools, and women in STEM event support.
