Fiber optic sensors are revolutionizing a wide range of fields. From aerospace to oil and gas, medical, electric utility and transmission, civil structures, mining, and earthquake mitigation. They provide portable, lightweight, durable, and reliable solutions. Their immunity to electromagnetic interference and environmental ruggedness allows fiber optic sensing systems to provide solutions for companies worldwide. Thin as a human hair, these sensors can be placed in environments where their electrical counterparts are too large and prone to failure.
